The Scout Heritage officially launched the Philippine Scout Collectors' Club which advocates the preservation of Scouting items for future generations

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—The Scout Heritage, a recently opened virtual Scouting museum, scoutheritage.com announced the official launch of the Philippine Scout Collectors’ Club (PSCC) on its Facebook page on August 10, 2022.

The PSCC advocates the preservation of Scouting items for the benefit of future generations, such as patches, neckerchiefs, and slides. “With the absence of a platform and a community like the PSCC, artifact values will be lost through time, and there is no other way to preserve these but to set standards,” Scout Heritage said in a Facebook post. They further stated that the artifacts tell the story of the Scouting movement.

According to their website, both the museum and the collectors’ club are independent of any National Scouting Organizations.

The PSCC is accepting 100 successful applicants for the month of August. Membership perks include exclusive discounts with partner establishments, a free market where members can buy, sell, and trade items, additional knowledge about Scouting artifacts through online discussions and interactions, and joining exclusive events such as auctions and exhibits.
